A: The website migration service available at LIGHTMGROUP Cloud is entirely free of cost and involves transferring all your website files, databases and e–mails from your current hosting provider to your brand–new hosting account with us. We will also fine–tune all the settings needed for your sites to be fully operational on our ultramodern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of moving any sort of website. With years of practical experience in this field, they’re well–versed in the inner workings of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other well–known Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built app with plenty of custom libraries is as easy as moving a simple WordPress weblog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time frame, because there are lots of factors, among them the physical size of the files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will give our best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (if the content is not large).

A: We’ll require the login details for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the web site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to start the migration of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share virtually the same information you have provided to your present web host. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive information is dealt with.

A: Nah. Your web site will stay available online during the migration. Once everything is done on our end, we will notify you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything’s alright, all you will have to do is edit your domain’s DNS settings.

A: While we transfer your website content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never get in touch with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source site management platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
